Welcome to the 2016 Season

Welcome to Windham Wolverines Football and Cheer!

The Windham Wolverines is a conference organization and proud to be part of the New Hampshire Youth Football and Spirit Conference (NHYFSC) and American Youth Football and Cheer (AYF/AYC).

OUR GOAL: Our organization will make every effort to ensure that every child, with the desire to participate, is allowed the opportunity to play football, perform in cheer, without regard to prior experience, athletic ability or initial capabilities. We are committed to instilling Honesty, Loyalty, Integrity, Teamwork, Discipline, Sportsmanship, Respect, Leadership, Trust, and Commitment in our young participants. We believe these values and virtues are important to a childs personal growth and essential for their development as active members of society and their community. These goals will be achieved through organizing our dedicated volunteers, caring parents and business associates who wish to partner with our youth sports program.

GET INVOLVED: The Wolverines are very fortunate to have an experienced leadership team and an enthusiastic group of volunteers who are helping to shape the program in so many ways. This group continues to expand and we welcome anyone who would like to help.

6th Annual Wolverines Day! Saturday, October 1st, 2016

6th Annual Wolverines Day!  Saturday, October 1st, 2016

For those of you new to the Wolverines Organization, you are in for a treat.  On Saturday, October 1st it’s ‘Wolverines Day’ during the WHS Jaguars football game!

Our Wolverines football and cheer teams will buddy up with one of the Jaguar football players and cheerleaders and enter the field together.  It is truly a delight to watch and to see how our “little” athletes look up to the high school kids.

This event is always so much fun and a great way to support the Jaguars.

Like last season, Wolverine’s families are invited to tailgate before the game. There will be activities for the kids, and a special half-time event not to be missed! Grade 2-3 will scrimmage and the cheerleaders will perform their halftime dance!

A coordinated effort is being made to have all tailgaters together.  You will be able to sign up and register for pizza through the Wolverines website. The cost is $10 per family for Pizza (completely optional). Or feel free to bring your own food as well or purchase from the Jaguars snack shed.

If you would like to join the pizza party, please sign up ($10/family) on the Wolverines Storefront by clicking here:

Derry Windham Cheer Xplosion Invitational

The Windham Wolverines are very excited to announce that we will be partnering with the Derry Demons to cohost a cheer competition this fall.

The NEW Derry Windham Cheer Xplosion Invitational will take place on Saturday, October 22nd at Sanborn Regional High School. Our competition is open to all youth cheer teams ages 5 – 18.

Planning has already begun, and we are very excited to be working with Derry’s program to deliver an outstanding and fun experience for all participants and volunteers.

Although a competitive sporting event in nature, this competition is also a fund raising activity for our organization, which will enable us to further the success of our football and cheer program.

This event is run solely by the generosity of volunteers.  As the competition dates gets closer we will ask our members to volunteer their time throughout the day. A sign-up genius will be distributed with the various positions required.

In addition, we are offering local businesses an opportunity to receive excellent visibility through sponsorship opportunities.  Almost 20,000 spectators are expected to be in attendance throughout the day.

If you are interested in being a sponsor, please review our sponsorship flyer or contact Courtney Galiatsatos at  .

For information regarding the  NEW Derry Windham Cheer Xplosion Invitational, please contact Laura Ostrowski at  , or visit our website and our Derry Windham Cheer Xplosion Facebook page.
